Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will lead Malongo’s market development strategy in Cambodia, with responsibility for driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the brand’s presence across multiple channels. This role combines commercial leadership, customer relationship management, and market positioning to ensure Malongo’s successful reintroduction and long-term growth in the region
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute the market entry and growth strategy for Malongo in Cambodia.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across B2B and B2C channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
- Lead sales and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Represent the brand at trade fairs, promotional events, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Malongo and Confluences’ marketing teams to align on campaigns and product launches.
- Oversee customer experience and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Manage budgets, sales targets, and performance reporting.
- Supervise and mentor team members to support business objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial management, preferably in FMCG, F&B, or retail.
- Leadership qualities: proactive, results-oriented, self-organized, and collaborative.
- Flexible, entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in French or English required; good command of Khmer would be a great plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong network and proven track record in driving business growth.
