Position Overview:
We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the brand’s commercial expansion and strengthen its presence across the Cambodian market. This position combines strategic development, sales leadership, partnership management, and operational coordination within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Business Development: Develop and execute Malongo’s commercial strategy in Cambodia across both B2B and B2C channels.
- Sales Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, cafés, offices, retailers, and distributors.
- Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders.
- Brand Development: Support the growth of Malongo’s visibility and market positioning through commercial initiatives, activations, and events.
- Market Expansion: Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the Sales Admin Officer and support team activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with Confluences’ support teams, including operations, finance, logistics, and marcom.
- Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses while monitoring KPIs and budgets.
- Customer Experience: Ensure excellent client follow-up and service quality aligned with Malongo’s premium positioning.
What We’re looking for:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or commercial leadership. Experience in FMCG, F&B, hospitality, or retail is a strong advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong commercial mindset, negotiation skills, organizational capabilities, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Language: Excellent command of English and French is required; Khmer is a strong plus.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/reporting tools.
- Personality: Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude, leadership capabilities, adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and result-oriented approach.
