A large international Software and IT company is expanding its operations in Cambodia. The company specializes in helping clients integrate their businesses into software environments, serving as a bridge between clients and the technical team to ensure successful implementation.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. In this mid-level role, you will be responsible for expanding our client base by identifying new business opportunities and promoting our software solutions. You won’t simply be ‘pitching’ software—you will act as a consultant to prospective clients, helping them identify operational inefficiencies and demonstrating how our solutions can support their growth.
What You’ll Do
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Research the Cambodian market to identify key sectors and high-potential corporate prospects.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, and email outreach.
- Qualify prospects to ensure they meet the ideal customer profile.
2. Consultative Sales & Demonstrations
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client pain points and goals.
- Present tailored solutions and basic demos highlighting Odoo’s ROI.
- Coordinate with Technical/BA teams on proposals for complex needs.
3. Pipeline Management & Closing
- Maintain accurate sales activities and opportunities in the CRM (Odoo).
- Prepare quotations and contracts following company pricing.
- Lead negotiations to close deals while ensuring strong margins.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business/finance/computer science or are lated field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of B2B sales experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in SaaS, IT Solutions or Consulting.
- Sales Skills: Deep understanding of the consultative sales process (listening -> diagnosing -> prescribing).
- Tech Savvy: Ability to quickly learn software functions to present persuasively without constant technical support.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills in Khmer & English. (Knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
- Mindset: Resilient to rejection and proactive; you don’t wait for leads to be handed to you.
